With more than two decades of a career dedicated to the logistics sector, Luiza Bublitz has been the President of Aliança Navegação e Logística since January 2024. A Maersk company, Aliança is a pioneer in coastal shipping and integrated logistics solutions. Recognized for her commercial success and innovation in the sector, Luiza holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidade Paulista and an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Dynamic and committed to sustainable business development, the executive has extensive experience in leadership positions both in Brazil and in Europe.

Luís Fernando Resano is a retired officer of the Brazilian Navy with an extensive career in the maritime and transportation sectors. He served as Brazil’s Representative to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), taking part in global-level debates and negotiations on navigation regulation and safety. He is a member of BIMCO’s Documentary Committee, contributing to the development and standardization of contracts and practices used internationally in maritime transport. Since July 2019, he has held the position of Executive Director of the Brazilian Cabotage Shipowners Association (ABAC), where he works directly to strengthen cabotage, engage in institutional dialogue with public authorities, and promote policies that drive coastal maritime transport in Brazil.

Leader of DatamarLab, he is an interdisciplinary researcher in Artificial Cognitive Systems and Social Robotics and a Professor of Science and Technology at the Institute of Science and Technology of the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Human–Computer Symbiosis at the Department of Mechatronic Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP) and serves as coordinator of Unifesp’s Doctoral Program and Professional Master’s Program in Technological Innovation. He is a pioneer of the Internet in Brazil and a reference in social network analysis, as well as a researcher at the International Center for Advanced Assistive Technologies (Universidad de La Frontera, Chile). At DatamarLab, he leads applied research and innovation initiatives focused on the use of artificial intelligence, cognitive systems, and data science to generate strategic value in the maritime and logistics sectors.

John Edwin Mein is the Executive Coordinator of PROCOMEX – Aliança Pró Modernização Logística do Comércio Exterior – Alliance for the Modernization of Foreign Trade Logistics: a business coalition to modernize Brazilian Customs processes. He is the former Chairperson of the Private Sector Consultative Group of the World Customs Organization.

He is an experienced public speaker and recognized for his abilties to moderate diverse groups working on challenging issues. He has published many editorials and articles, including in the World Customs Journal. In his varied professional career he has worked extensively in Trade Facilitation, Public Policy, Investment Promotion, New Business Development, Association Management, Stratefic Planning and General Management as well as on several Social Entrepeneurship projects.

Specialist in Regulation of Waterway Transport Services since 2010. Manager of Statistics and Port Performance Evaluation since 2011. Mechanical Engineer, Master of Business Administration, and Lawyer. Holds postgraduate degrees in the field of Information Technology. Full member of the Brazilian Academy of Port and Maritime Law (ABDPM). Works in the port and maritime sector at the National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ), contributing to the development and maintenance of the Port Performance System (SDP) and to the management of the Waterway Statistical Dashboard.

Prof. Marcos Santos holds two postdoctoral degrees, one of them in Space Sciences and Technologies from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA). He holds a Master’s and PhD in Operations Research and Decision Making. He teaches Operations Research at the Military Institute of Engineering (IME), working in Computer Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Defense Engineering. In the field of “Decision Making,” he has presented and/or published over 900 research works in more than 20 countries. In 2023 and 2024, he was listed by Stanford University (USA) among the top 2% of the world’s leading scientists in Mathematical Modeling. He is also an entrepreneur, co-founder of Operational Research and Technology (ORTEC), a consulting and training company established in 16 Brazilian states.

Lucas Sanches is a LATAM Senior Product Manager at WiseTech Global, with over 15 years of experience in IT and work across multiple countries. He holds a degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Project Management and an Executive MBA, and leads technological solutions that optimize operations and deliver measurable results. He has a decade of collaboration with the Brazilian Government in modernizing logistics through innovation in processes and technology. He is recognized for his leadership driven by innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic systems integration.

Thiago Nobre Mascarenhas develops Artificial Intelligence and Data systems, with over 15 years of experience in transforming advanced technologies into scalable products with real economic impact, consistently working at the intersection of science, engineering, and business strategy. He is currently Chief of Data and Architecture at Engineering Brasil and a member of Datamar Lab, where he works on the development of solutions in machine learning, generative AI, intelligent automation, and data platforms, with a focus on scale, governance, operational efficiency, and return on investment. He holds a master’s degree in Management for Competitiveness, with research in Digital Twins and Computer Vision, and is a PhD candidate in Complex Systems at the University of São Paulo (USP), conducting research on AI agents, emergent behavior, and symbolic language, and is also a member of an experimental research group in Artificial Cognitive Systems.

Bachelor of Arts and Translator/Interpreter from Centro Universitário Ibero-Americano. With over 30 years of experience in foreign trade, including solid experience in multinational and national companies. Specialist in maritime transportation, with extensive knowledge of containerized and bulk cargo transport. Her career encompasses market intelligence, commercial operations, logistics, process management, and customs risk management. She stands out for managing large teams, strategic vision, and the ability to operate in multifunctional roles within the sector.

Claudio Loureiro de Souza is Executive Director of CENTRONAVE – Centro Nacional de Navegação Transatlântica. He holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and has over 50 years of experience in the shipping, logistics, and port infrastructure sectors, being one of the leading executives in the industry in Brazil. He began his career at Lloyd Brasileiro, where he served as Director of Control and Vice President. He worked at United States Lines developing port and container terminal projects along the Brazilian coast. At Vale (Docenave), he implemented a regular maritime service between Brazil and the U.S. East Coast and structured strategic logistics operations, including the development of bulk bauxite river transportation for the Albrás-Alunorte complex. He participated in the development and implementation of Sepetiba Tecon and worked at CPBS expanding new business ventures and intermodal operations. At Log-In Logística Intermodal, he served as Development Director, Ports Director, and President of TVV – Terminal de Vila Velha.

Allan Tabacof is a Marketing Executive at Santos Brasil, a company within the CMA CGM Group, where he leads the Market Intelligence and Commercial Intelligence structures focused on generating commercial opportunities in logistics and shipping. Throughout his career, he has worked at companies such as VLI Logística, Monsanto/Bayer, and International Paper, holding roles in sales, strategy, pricing, and customer insights. His professional trajectory combines business vision, data analysis, and digital transformation applied to complex markets such as logistics and agribusiness.
